Gardaí encountered the vehicle, which had false registration plates - a stinger was deployed and the car was subsequently seized

Court appearance due following ‘dangerous’ driving in Donegal

A court appearance will follow after a car was “driving in a dangerous manner” in Inishowen.

Buncrana Roads Policing Unit encountered the vehicle at Quigley’s Point and it failed to stop when signalled to do so. A stinger was deployed to stop the vehicle and it was subsequently seized. 

According to Gardaí, the car had false registration plates and was being driven dangerously.

The investigations remain ongoing and court proceedings will follow.
