There were collisions with deer on two roads in west Donegal over the festive period.
The collisions happened around the Dobhair area on a 60km stretch of road. There are no signs indicating that there are deer in the area, according to local Councillor John Sheamais Ó Fearraigh.

“I will ask Donegal County Council to add signage along this stretch and other local roads too due to these accidents,” he said. Cllr Ó Fearraigh will highlight the issue at the next meeting of the Glenties Municipal District.
