Today is expected to be mostly dry in Donegal with the occasional coastal shower

Largely dry today, Thursday, in Donegal with some bright spells and just a few showers.

Afternoon highs of 2 to 5 degrees with light variable winds becoming light to moderate northerly in the afternoon.

A mix of cloud and clear spells tonight with scattered wintry showers, mainly near coasts. Frost and ice will form on untreated surfaces with lowest temperatures of -3 to +1 degrees in light to moderate northwesterly winds.

A bright, cool day tomorrow, Friday, with spells of sunshine and scattered showers, some of which will be wintry or of hail with a chance of isolated thunderstorms. Highest temperatures of 3 to 6 degrees in mostly light to moderate westerly winds.
