Donegal Road gritters will be out on Thursday night and Friday morning
All of Donegal County Council’s winter maintenance designated routes are to be gritted on Thursday night and Friday morning.
Met Éireann is predicting lowest temperatures of -3 to +1 on Thursday night. There will be scattered wintry showers and frost and ice will form on untreated surfaces.
Friday morning will see sunshine and scattered showers, some of which will be wintry.

The designated routes will be treated from 6pm on Thursday and from 6am on Friday.
The routes that will be treated are: 01: National Primary North, 02: National Primary Central, 03: National Primary South, 04: Inishowen South, 05: Inishowen East, 06: Inishowen West, 07: Milford South, 08: Milford North, 09: Cill Ulta East, 10: Cill Ulta West, 11: Na Rosa, 12: Binswilly, 13: Stranorlar North, 14: Stranorlar East, 15: Stranorlar West, 16: Donegal West, 17: Donegal North, 18: Donegal South, 19: Donegal National Secondary, BT: Buncrana Town, and LT: Letterkenny Town.
