Letterkenny Cathedral Quarter invites TG4 show to visit town

An online Letterkenny campaign group has appealed online for a TG4 show to visit the area to showcase the community work in helping bring derelict buildings back into use.

Letterkenny Cathedral Quarter’s X (formerly Twitter) page made the call out to TG4’s programme, Buildings Beo.

Buildings Beo, presented by Carrie Crowley, is a property show that is not only about the renovation of heritage buildings all around the country, but also about the people and communities who bring these buildings to life.

At the end of 2025, a six-part series from Buildings Beo featured properties in towns such as Castleblayney, Ballinamore, Mount Congreve, Kinsale, Monkstown, and Macroom.

An online post on X from Letterkenny Cathedral Quarter read: “We would dearly love if Carrie Crowley and TG4 TV Buildings Beo would come to Letterkenny Cathedral Quarter to see how a community group with with local authority ‘Donegal County Council’ is helping to bring #derelictIreland buildings back into use.”
