Swords of Light were due to play in the Abbey Arts Centre
The much anticipated Swords of Light concert at the Abbey Arts Centre in Ballyshannon has been cancelled.
Swords of Light are Ireland's only full, dedicated five-piece tribute to Irish Celtic rock legends Horslips. This hugely popular act was due to play in the Abbey Arts Centre on Saturday, January 24. It is not yet clear if the event will be rescheduled.
A spokesperson for the Abbey Arts Centre said: “We regret to inform you that the event due to take place on Saturday, January 24 has now been cancelled due to a family bereavement.
“Please keep an eye on our newsletter and social media platforms should this event be rescheduled.
“Our thoughts are with the band members and their family at this sad time.”
