A friendly, informal gathering took place in Leghowney Hall to celebrate Nollaig na mBán.
Originally scheduled for Saturday, January 3, the original event had to be cancelled due to treacherous driving conditions caused by snowfall.
It was rescheduled to the following Saturday, January 10, and was very much enjoyed by those who came along.

A spokesperson for Leghowney Community Hall said: “Thanks to the 12 lovely ladies who joined us on Saturday, January 10, to eventually celebrate Nollaig na mBan.
“The wind howled outside but we were warm and cozy inside, with plenty of goodies, candles glowing and lots of laughs and chatter.

“It's not easy organising gatherings this end of the year with the weather to contend with, having had to cancel the previous week but it would be nice to make it a regular event on our calendar.”
