A Honda Jazz was stolen but has since been recovered
A car stolen during the New Year’s celebrations has been recovered in Donegal.
The theft of the red Honda Jazz, with a registration number of ‘11 DL6681’ was reported at Meetinghouse Street, Donegal Town, between 11pm on Wednesday, December 31, and 3pm on Thursday, January 1.
However, following an appeal by Gardai last week, the car was recovered.
A short time after the Garda appeal was circulated, a member of the public made contact. The car had been abandoned in a wooded area near Stranorlar.

A spokesperson said: “We wish to thank the member of the public who made the call.”
