Roads in Donegal could be very slippy on Saturday morning

Donegal County Council is warning of the potential of freezing rain affecting roads in the county on Saturday.

The local authority says roads could potentially be very slippy and the public is advised to take extra care.

“You should assume that no roads are ice-free,” the council said.

Met Éireann says Saturday will see mist and fog patches gradually clear during the morning and the rest of the day will see some bright or sunny spells and scattered showers with highest temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees in light, variable or southeasterly winds.
