An inaugural Open Mic Night is set to take place in Dungloe next month.

The event will take place on Friday February 27, from 8pm to 10pm at Ionad Teampall Chróine, Dungloe, sponsored by MACE Ireland Community Grant Awards.

Event organisers said: "We’re kicking things off in style and you’re invited! Join us for the very first Old Chapel Sessions Open Mic Night, a brand-new, welcoming space created especially for emerging local artists and music lovers alike.

"Featuring special guest Conor O’Donnell. From folk to rock, trad to original songs, all genres and all age groups are welcome. Whether it’s your first time on stage or you’re a seasoned performer, this is a friendly, supportive night to share your music and connect with the local scene.
