The dates for the 2026 Raphoe Diocesan pilgrimage to Lourdes

Dates have been announced for the 2026 Raphoe Diocesan pilgrimage to Lourdes, France.

This year’s pilgrimage will take place from Monday, May 25, travelling from the City of Derry Airport for four nights.

The pilgrimage will be led by Monsignor Kevin Gillespie, with Pilgrimage Director Fr Stephen Gorman.

The cost is €939 per person sharing. This includes: direct return flights from City of Derry Airport to Lourdes, all airport transfers and assistance in Lourdes, four nights’ accommodation in selected hotels, full board - breakfast, lunch and dinner each day, airport taxes and Sanctuary Levy, 20kg check-in luggage, a full religious programme, and full services of Joe Walsh Tours representatives throughout. There is a single room supplement of €39 per night.

Optional return airport transfers from Letterkenny to City of Derry Airport are €25 per person.

The Special Assisted/ Sick Section is accommodated at the Accueil Notre Dame. Acceptance for travel with the Special Assisted Section is subject to approval by the Raphoe Pilgrimage Medical Board.
