Féile na mBan – Brigid Beo welcomes the arrival of spring with a special night of music and entertainment on TG4 on Bank Holiday Monday, February 2.

The programme travels to Bundoran, where the town marks Féile na mBan with a full weekend of events inspired by St Brigid’s enduring legacy, blending ancient tradition with contemporary culture.

Presenter Póilín Nic Géidigh immerses herself in the festival atmosphere, attending events ranging from art exhibitions and workshops to braving the Atlantic alongside local surfers and swimmers. She also meets Olwen Pendred, who explores and explains the ancient rituals and traditions associated with the festival.

The line-up features an impressive array of performers, including Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh, Niamh Regan, Ríoghnach Connolly, Wallis Bird, The Henry Girls and Maeve O’Donnell, alongside poets Maureen Onwunali and Róise Ní Bhaoill. The show is on February 2 at 9:30pm on TG4.
