Inside the new Skechers store in Letterkenny
Skechers has officially opened the doors to its brand-new Outlet store at Unit 8, Letterkenny Retail Park.
The launch marks the brand’s first location in Donegal and its 25th store nationwide. The opening has created 15 new jobs locally and adds to the growing retail offering at Letterkenny Retail Park.
The store opened on Friday, February 13, bringing the globally recognised footwear and lifestyle brand to Letterkenny for the first time. The opening forms part of the continued Irish expansion of ShuzGroup, trading as Skechers Ireland, an Irish-owned business headquartered in Cork.
ShuzGroup opened its first Irish Skechers franchise store on Henry Street in 2010 and has grown steadily over the past 16 years, with 25 stores now operating across the country. The Letterkenny opening represents an important milestone for the business as it expands further into the Northwest.
The new Skechers Outlet store offers a wide selection of footwear for men, women and children, alongside apparel and accessories. From casual everyday styles to performance trainers designed with Skechers’ signature comfort technologies - including Skechers Arch Fit?, Skechers Air-Cooled Memory Foam? and Skechers Hands Free Slip-ins? - the store caters for the entire family.
Speaking about the new store, Managing Director Paul Gallagher said: “We’re delighted to bring Skechers to Letterkenny and to open our first store in Donegal. This is an exciting milestone for our business, and we look forward to becoming part of the local retail community. I would like to sincerely thank everyone involved in bringing this store to life - it’s a fantastic achievement for our team.”

Customers can also look forward to special opening offers in-store as part of the launch celebrations.
Opening hours are: Monday to Wednesday 9:30am-6pm, Thursday to Friday 9:30am-8pm, Saturday 9:30am-6pm, and Sunday 12pm-6pm.
