Eric Roberts and dance partner Arianna Favaro
Donegal’s Eric Roberts is taking on a special dance for the 100th episode of Dancing with the Stars.
For the special anniversary episode, seven All-Stars will return to the ballroom as part of a never-before-seen twist. This week, each of the seven remaining couples will be mentored by a contestant from one of the previous eight seasons.
Ireland AM host and Glen native Eric and his partner Arianna Favaro will be joined in studio by his sometimes TV co-host and Season Six runner-up, Brooke Scullion. Eric will reimagine the singer’s Movie Week Paso Doble to “The Greatest Show” from The Greatest Showman. As one of Brooke’s stand-out dances from her season, all eyes will be on Eric to see how he gets on.
The couples will be challenged with having to redo, reimagine and reinterpret some of the All-Stars’ most iconic dances from their season. Although not actually dancing on the night, each mentor will visit their couple in the rehearsal room to advise them during the week and will also be on-hand live on Sunday to cheer them on.
Since Dancing with the Stars burst onto screens in January 2017, the show has seen over 100 celebrities do over 1,000 dances and this weekend will look back on some of the most memorable moments of all.
If that wasn’t enough nostalgia the audience will be filled with former Dancing with the Stars alumni from the previous eight seasons, who will also give some of their favourite moments from the last decade of dance.

The two couples with the lowest combined points from the judges and public will face-off against each other in the Dance-Off.
Former presenter and Westlife star Nicky Byrne will step back onto the famous dancefloor for the first time since 2022. However, in a brand-new twist, Nicky will swap hosting duties for the judges’ desk, joining the panel as a special guest judge for one night only.
Nicky originally fronted the series for its first five seasons, becoming a cornerstone of the show’s success and a firm favourite with viewers. His return for the landmark 100th episode promises a nostalgic and celebratory evening; and a full-circle moment in the ballroom he helped make iconic.
Dancing with the Stars returns on Sunday at 6:30pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player.
