Investigations are ongoing, An Garda Siochana said
An Garda Siochana seized a car that was found abandoned after they used a stinger device.
Buncrana gardaí and Buncrana Roads Policing Unit conducted a crime prevention checkpoint in the border area in the early hours of Saturday morning.
"One driver failed to stop when signalled to do so but instead drove onwards in a dangerous manner through the checkpoint," An Garda Siochana said. "The stinger device was successfully deployed. The uninsured vehicle in question was later located abandoned and it was seized. Investigations are ongoing."
