A rather cloudy and wet start to Tuesday in Donegal with patchy rain and drizzle.

The rain will become persistent later this morning and afternoon. Mild today with southwesterly breezes and highest temperatures of 10 to 12 degrees.

Cloudy with outbreaks of rain and drizzle then tonight. Mist and fog patches will form overnight and it'll be rather mild too with lowest temperatures of 8 to 10 degrees with southerly breezes.

Cloudy and wet with rain clearing early in the morning on Wednesday followed by scattered showers. Some of the showers may be heavy at times during the afternoon. Southwesterly breezes will continue and it'll be quite mild with highest temperatures of 11 to 13 degrees.
