The theft occurred in Rathmullan
A handbag and a sum of cash were stolen from a car parked in Rathmullan.
The theft occurred in a carpark at the Pier Road on Saturday, February 21 between 9am and 5pm.
A black Zara handbag containing a purse had been left on the seat of a car at that location. Between those hours, the car was entered but no damage was caused. The bag was stolen from the car.
The purse was later located a short distance away and a small sum of cash had been stolen from it. The bag was not recovered.

“We appeal to anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity or people in the area of the Pier Road on that date to get in touch with us,” said Garda Sean Sweeney. “Any relevant information in relation to the incident should be passed on to Gardaí in Milford on 074-9153060.”
