The family of the late Joe McGroarty, Croagh Patrick Avenue, Letterkenny, donated to the Friends of LUH as a gesture of appreciation for the care and treatment he received in LUH during his illness and health struggles last year.

They wish to acknowledge the input of all the staff in LUH who were directly involved in his care, both clinical staff and support staff, especially the catering, domestic and portering staff. He passed away on October 24.

A figure of €3,500 was raised following a night of song and dance in his memory recently in the Silver Tassie hotel. Joe's family wish to thank everyone who attended on the night, donated, the hotel for their support and generosity and the business who donated raffle prizes.
