A man was assaulted following a verbal altercation in Donegal.
The incident occurred between 10:30pm and 10:50pm on Monday, March 2, on New Road, Carndonagh.
A man was walking when a grey Lexus pulled in. The man got into a verbal altercation with two males in the car and one of them got out and proceeded to assault him.
The man sustained injuries, none of which are believed to be life-threatening in nature.

“We appeal to motorists who may have travelled in that area with a dash-cam between 10.15pm and 11pm last night, to make that footage available to investigating Gardaí,” a garda spokesperson said. “If anyone witnessed the incident, we ask them to contact Gardaí in Buncrana on 074-9320540.”
