Multiple sclerosis event in Donegal: Meet experts and learn strategies

People living with multiple sclerosis (MS) and their families are invited to a free information event in Letterkenny. 

The event will feature expert speakers addressing both the medical and well-being aspects of living with MS. The event, organised by MS Ireland, will take place at the Clanree Hotel on Saturday, March 28 at 11am.

It aims to provide accessible, reliable information in a supportive environment, while also offering an opportunity for attendees to connect with others affected by MS and learn more about available supports.

Leading the programme will be Bill Vaughan, Development Worker with Mental Health Ireland, who will focus on mental wellbeing. His talk will explore practical tools and strategies that people living with MS can use to support their emotional and psychological health.

Medical insights will be provided by Kevin Murphy, Consultant Neurologist at Sligo University Hospital. Dr Murphy will outline recent developments in multiple sclerosis care and treatment, and explain what these advances may mean for people living with the condition.

Proceedings will begin with a tea and coffee reception at 10.00am, followed by expert talks from 11.00am to 1.00pm. A light lunch will be provided for all attendees.

Attendance is free of charge; however, advance registration is essential as places are limited.
