Sheep trailer stolen in Pettigo

Gardaí issued an appeal for assistance after a sheep trailer was stolen from a yard in Pettigo.

The theft incident occurred in the area of Billary, Pettigo, between 5.30pm on Tuesday, March 10, and 9am on Wednesday, March 11.

Gardaí said that the galvanised sheep trailer was eight foot by four foot in size, and was stolen from the yard between the given times.

A statement issued by Gardaí said: “We appeal to anyone who may have observed suspicious activity or vehicle in the area between the times given, to contact Gardai in Ballyshannon on 071-9858530.

“Any relevant information may alternatively be passed on via the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.”
