The Bishop of Derry and Raphoe, Rt Rev Andrew Forster, is embarking on a series of walks throughout the Diocese of Derry and Raphoe to fundraise.

Bishop Andrew is embarking on the seven walks, each between 10 and 15 miles in distance, to raise funds for the Diocese of Kondoa in Tanzania.

On each walk, Bishop Andrew connects with local churches, stopping to pray for the people and clergy of Kondoa and for the success of Derry and Raphoe’s partnership with the Tanzanian diocese.

The connection between the diocese is because the Bishop of Kondoa, Rt Rev Dr Given Gaula, signed a 5-year partnership agreement with Bishop Andrew in October 2024, facilitated by CMS Ireland, involving a shared commitment to prayer, mission, and mutual support in their dioceses.
