Members from Letterkenny Active Retirement Association (LARA) had a chance meeting with President Catherine Connolly last week.

The group were having afternoon tea in the Radisson Hotel Letterkenny when President Connolly arrived, taking time out between her commitments in Lifford and Letterkenny’s Cara House.

President Connolly chatted with LARA members and took a group photo. They raised the possibility of visiting her residence at Áras an Uachtarán in Phoenix Park, Dublin, and President Connolly warmly extended an invitation.
