The dumped items at Elaghbeg, Bridgend, on Friday night
A Donegal county councillor has said that the person who was responsible for illegal dumping will be identified.
Buncrana-based Jack Murray of Sinn Féin said that items found from the dumped items at Elaghbeg, Bridgend, mean the search will not be a difficult one and described the behaviour as “selfish.”

“A few people have contacted me about the overnight illegal dumping of waste in Elaghbeg, Bridgend, last night,” Cllr Murray posted this afternoon.

“I know it has already been reported to the Gardaí, while I will be engaging with the council's litter warden as well. Among the waste are several items which will allow for the identification of the person responsible, so I expect swift action to be taken. This type of selfish activity needs to be stopped.”
