Donegal are at St Tiernach's Park in Clones this afternoon to face Monaghan and round off the regular series in Division 1 of the National Football League.

The side managed by Jim McGuinness are currently on nine points from their six outings to date, alongside Kerry, also on nine.

The top two in the standings after today's four fixtures, all throwing in at 3:30pm, will contest the final next weekend. The bottom two sides, of which Monaghan are guaranteed to come last, having lost all six games to date, get relegated to Division 2 for 2027.

It’s head-to-head results that dictate when two teams are level, but scoring difference comes into play when three or more teams finish on the same points. Donegal are in Monaghan, Kerry travel to Armagh, Dublin go to Galway and Mayo welcome Roscommon.

A win for Donegal will guarantee a final place against Kerry if they win in Armagh, and if not, that opens the door for Mayo or Roscommon. Donegal defeated Kerry in Ballyshannon 1-22 to 1-18 and overcame Mayo on their visit to Letterkenny, 1-19 to 0-14, so therefore have the head-to-head advantage should either of those teams end up on the same points, should the need arise.

The TG4 cameras will be live for the meeting of Kildare v Louth and Galway v Dublin. The following are available to watch live on Spórt TG4 YouTube- Mayo v Roscommon, Monaghan v Donegal, Derry v Cavan, Offaly v Meath and Tyrone v Cork, and Wexford v Westmeath is live via the TG4 Player/App. The Armagh v Kerry clash is live on BBC iPlayer & GAA+,
