Injured drivers taken to Sligo University Hospital
Drivers involved in a road collision between Pettigo and Laghey on Monday, March 23, had to be taken to Sligo University Hospital to receive treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
The collision involved two vehicles, both with no passengers, on the R232 in the area of Drumgun, Pettigo, shortly after 9pm. One of the vehicles was travelling from Pettigo towards Laghey, and the other was travelling in the opposite direction when the collision occurred.

A Gardaí statement read: “We appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact Gardaí in Ballyshannon on 071-9858530.
“If anyone travelled in that area with a dash-cam around that time, we ask them to make the footage available to us.”
