The man appeared before Letterkenny District Court
A young Donegal man who exposed himself at a property in Lifford is to be sentenced later this year.
The man, who is in his 20s, cannot be named at this stage of court proceedings.
Solicitor Patsy Gallagher told a special sitting of Letterkenny District Court that the man had indicated a plea in the case.
The accused is charged that he engaged in offensive conduct of a sexual nature. The charge is Contrary to Section 45 (3) of the Criminal Law (Sexual Offences Act) of 2017.
Mr Gallagher said the man had "issues" and that he wanted to formally enter a plea and ask for a probation report in the case.
He asked for the case to be adjourned to the Falcarragh District Court date of June 17, 2026 for the report and possible sentence.
Judge Ciaran Liddy accepted jurisdiction and adjourned the case until June 17.
The court was told legal aid in the case had been granted to solicitor Mr Robert Ryan in October, 2025.
