McGinley Coach Travel is based in Gortahork
Donegal travellers are set for more choice and flexibility as McGinley Coach Travel announces a major expansion of its popular routes to Dublin.
From Tuesday, April 7, the Gortahork based company will introduce four new daily departures on its Letterkenny to Dublin City and Airport route, and one new daily departure on its Inishowen/Derry to Dublin route. In total, this adds more than 40 extra departures per week to the existing timetable.
The move has been welcomed by commuters, students, airport passengers, and anyone heading to Dublin for events, giving them more convenient travel options throughout the day.
New arrival times into Dublin city will include 9:30am and 5pm, ideal for early flights or evening events. Additional services to Donegal from Parnell Square will depart each day at 12:30pm and 3:30pm, while the Inishowen/Derry route will add a new 3:30pm return service from Dublin.
Managing Director James McGinley said the expansion was a direct response to passenger feedback.
“For a while now, passengers have been asking for more services,” he said. “We’ve listened, and these new departures give people more flexibility, whether it’s getting to Dublin early for work, college, or flights, or travelling later for concerts or sports. With four daily services and extra options at peak times, including Fridays and Sundays, our timetable is now stronger than ever.”
The expansion is also expected to benefit the local economy by supporting job creation and attracting more visitors to Donegal during the busy summer months.
