Donegal Dragons and Donegal Bay Rowing Club are hosting a joint open day at Donegal Pier

Looking for a new experience? Two Donegal watersports clubs have come together to host an open day where people can try out a range of activities in a warm, friendly and safe environment.

Donegal Dragons and Donegal Bay Rowing Club invite you to take to the water to try dragon boating, coastal rowing boats or skiff boats. And if you don’t feel quite ready to step into a boat, you can get a feel for rowing and paddling using dry land equipment. There will be a rowing machine and Dragon boat ergometer on the pier.

The open day is for adults and young people over the age of 11, of all fitness levels. No experience is needed, simply come along, meet the clubs and enjoy these great activities in the fresh air and on the water of Donegal Bay.

The event takes place on Sunday, April 19 from 5pm to 8pm at Donegal Pier, Donegal Town.
