The Status Yellow Weather Warning for Wind for Donegal has been extended until Saturday.
A warning is currently in place in Donegal from 2pm till 9pm today, Friday, and now Met Éireann have said it will be more of the same on Saturday.
Donegal, as well as Galway, Mayo and Sligo have the warning from midnight tonight until 2pm on Saturday.
There will be very strong and gusty south to southwest winds. The potential impacts include difficult travelling conditions, some fallen trees and branches and debris, with loose objects displaced.
