Cara House Family Resource Centre (FRC) is holding a cycle event at Glenveagh National Park.
The event will take place on Thursday, May 14, from 10am to 4pm. It will be hosted in honour of National Bike Week 2026, which will run from Saturday, May 9, to Sunday, May 17.
National Bike Week was made to encourage new, occasional, and experienced cyclists to make cycling a part of their daily lives.

The trip will include return transportation from Cara House, a guided cycle ride up to Glenveagh Castle and back to the main car park, and light refreshments. There will also be a three-hour bike hire, with six electric and four hybrid bikes available.
No experience is needed, as Cara House FRC says, “it’s easy, it’s fun, and it’s for everyone!”
Spaces are limited, and booking is essential. To get more information or to reserve a spot, The Cara House FRC can be contacted at 083-8638315.
