Donegal County Council has conditionally approved planning permission for a new artist’s studio and gallery shop on Main Street in Glenties.

Listed applicants, Hannah McGuinness and Kevin McNaney, were successful in their planning application, which proposes the demolition of an existing derelict terraced property, and the construction of a two-storey building with a gallery shop and an artist’s studio, and all associated site development works and connection to existing services.

Donegal County Council granted the application planning permission with nine conditions, including a condition that the applicant should pay a contribution of €394.44 in respect of public infrastructure and facilities benefiting development in the area of the Planning Authority that is already provided or is intended to be provided by the Authority.
