Car believed to have false registration causes ‘significant damage’ in Donegal

Ballyshannon gardaí are appealing for witnesses following the collision

Gardaí have issued a witness appeal after a car caused “significant damage” in Donegal. 

The collision occurred between 11pm on Saturday, April 11 and 7:30am on Sunday, April 12, around Grahamsland, Castlefin. A black Audi allegedly crashed through the garden wall of a house and came to a halt in the garden.

“Significant damage was caused to the wall and to the car,” Garda Grainne Doherty said. “The registration plates on the car are believed to be false. Investigations are ongoing. 

“We appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who may have any type of relevant information, to contact Gardaí in Ballyshannon on 071-9858530.”
