'A new chapter begins' - Credit Unions in Donegal complete merger

The Central Bank of Ireland and the Irish League of Credit Unions were in favour of the merger, and the Board of Letterkenny Credit Union passed a resolution to accept the transfer of engagements from Swilly Mulroy Credit Union last month

Letterkenny Credit Union and Swilly Mulroy Credit Union have completed their merger.

Swilly Mulroy Credit Union Limited transferred its assets and liabilities to Letterkenny Credit Union Limited.

“We are delighted to officially announce the opening of Letterkenny Credit Union, following the successful merger with Swilly Mulroy Credit Union,” Letterkenny Credit Union posted. “This marks an exciting milestone for our members and community.
