'We will never contact you looking for card details or personal information,' the Highlands Hotel said
A Donegal hotel has warned people that there are scam WhatsApp messages circulating in its name.
The Highlands Hotel in Glenties have advised anyone who might receive a message from them not to give their card details.

“If anyone has received a WhatsApp message from us, please report it as spam,” they said. “It has been brought to our attention that someone is unlawfully using our details and asking to confirm bookings and requesting card details.
“We will never contact you looking for card details or personal information. The contact details for the Highlands Hotel are as follows - email: reception@highlandshotel.com, phone 0749551111. These are the only contact details we will reach out to you using. Sorry for any confusion.”
