Parked vehicle criminally damaged in Letterkenny car park incident

Car window smashed in Letterkenny

Gardaí in Letterkenny have stated an interest in hearing about a sighting of a male in the area of Robinson Hall Carpark in Letterkenny, after a parked vehicle was criminally damaged.

The incident occurred on Saturday, April 18, between approximately 4.40pm and 4.50pm, at Robinson Hall Car Park, Port Road, during which time the passenger side window of the parked car was smashed, and damage was also caused to the steering column.

A Gardaí statement read: “We appeal to anyone who may have travelled along the Port Road with a dash-cam between 4.30pm and 5pm on that date to make the footage available to us.

“We are particularly interested in hearing about any sightings of a male in the area who was wearing a black and white hoodie and black tracksuit bottoms.

“Any relevant information should be passed on to Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100.”
