Daniel O'Donnell brings back Tea Party
Donegal’s Daniel O’Donnell is inviting fans to his famous tea party for the first time in 26 years.
The famous musician has organised the event for the aid of charity on July 28, from 1pm to 4pm.
O’Donnell posted online with the hashtag, #boilthekettle, which said: “After 26 years, it’s back, another tea party!
“Join me and Mrs O’D (Majella O’Donnell) for a cup of tea at our house in Meenabad in aid of Relay for Life.”

During the 1990s, O’Donnell’s tea parties were a regular event, attracting fans who were visiting the Mary from Dungloe International Festival, until it’s last occasion in 2000.
Relay For Life is an initiative run in Ireland by the Irish Cancer Society, and is the biggest cancer fundraising initiative worldwide.
