Horseshoe fundraiser raises more than €600 for north Inishowen care home

A horseshoe fundraiser challenge match has raised more than €600 for a north Inishowen care home.

The horseshoe throwing competition at the Clonmany Festival field between The Anchor Bar and McFeeley's Bar on Easter Monday raised €635 for Saint Columbcille Village.

“We are always very grateful for these donations,” Saint Columbcille Village posted.

“They remind us how lucky we are to be surrounded by such a kind and caring community. A huge Thanks to everyone involved. We have no doubt a very enjoyable day was had by all.”

Organisers  thanked everyone that donated to and that took part in the fundraiser for the Clonmany care home. “Thanks to both bars for their support,” they said. “Thanks for the use of the field. It was mighty craic.”
