Fancy working with Liam Neeson here in Donegal? Last call for actors and crew

The Donegal Film Office and putting out a last call for actors and film crews for what has been described as “a Hollywood blockbuster" starring Liam Neeson.

Filming on 'The Land of Saints and Sinners' is to begin in March. The action adventure tells the story of a retired assassin who is forced into a game of cat and mouse with three terrorists. The film also stars well-known Belfast-born actor Ciarán Hinds.

Killybegs and its surrounding areas Kilcar, Teelin and Glencolmcille are to be the location for over two months of filming. It has been speculated scenes will be shot in Letterkenny.

The Donegal Film Office has advertised for local actors who are currently living in Donegal, as well as for a film crew, but you'll have to be quick.

Actors, who must be native to Donegal, must apply by tomorrow, January 31. The deadline for the film crew application is Wednesday, February 9, with the advertisement stating interested parties must live within a 45km radius of Killybegs.
