There were 51 admitted patients waiting for hospital beds this morning at Letterkenny University Hospital (LUH), according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO) TrolleyWatch data, again the second highest in the country.
15 patients are waiting in the emergency department, while 36 are in wards elsewhere in the hospital.
University Hospital Limerick had just three more patients waiting on trolley beds to get hospital beds and that figure showed a total of 54 patients awaiting beds, 29 located in the emergency department with 25 patients on wards elsewhere in the hospital.
38 admitted patients are waiting for beds this morning, at Sligo University Hospital (SUH) according to today’s INMO Trolley Watch. 28 patients are waiting in the emergency department, which recently had a €3.2m makeover, while 10 are in wards elsewhere in the hospital.
On a national basis 488 admitted patients are waiting for beds this morning, according to today’s INMO Trolley Watch. 387 patients were waiting in the emergency department, while 110 were in wards elsewhere in the hospital.
