Garda probe into Castlefin trailer theft

Gardaí in Letterkenny are appealing for information in relation to the theft of a 10-foot Hudson builder’s trailer that was stolen from a house in Sessiagh Park, Castlefin on Thursday, February 17
at between 1.05pm and 1.15pm.

CCTV footage of the theft shows a grey people carrier, which gardaí say could perhaps be a VW Sharan, with partial registration, UIG, reverse into the driveway of the house. The footage shows two men exit the vehicle, wearing hoods, and attach the trailer to the car. Gardaí say the driver did not exit the vehicle at all. They left the property with the stolen trailer.

Gardaí are appealing to anybody who was in the Castlefin or surrounding areas on that date around the time and who may have seen this vehicle, with or without the trailer, or believe that they may
