Donegal Mountain Rescue Team was tasked by An Garda Síochána to assist two members of the public who became disoriented in the dark in Sheskinmore Nature Reserve.

The pair had been been trying to find their way out for several hours on Sunday evening.

Thankfully the walkers were located and guided to safety. One was assessed by the National Ambulance Service.
