Six new DEIS schools in East Donegal

Move welcomed by Cllr Patrick McGowan

Six schools in the Lifford-Stranorlar Municipal District have been awarded DEIS status

The news has been welcomed by local councillor, Patrick McGowan which is part of a €32 million major expansion of the DEIS programme incorporating 310 new schools nationally.

"I am delighted six schools in the Lifford-Stranorlar MD have been added as I know principals, teachers and boards of management have been trying for years to be included," said Cllr McGowan.

The six schools are:
