Martin Goldrick, Currys Letterkenny General Manager, will do his bit for charity on Black Friday
Currys Letterkenny General Manager Martin Goldrick will shave his head on Black Friday in a bid to raise much needed funds for Donegal Hospice.
Previous events in store to raise funds for Donegal Cancer have always been a huge success with the local community getting on board and donating funds, and Martin and the team hope this event will be the same.
"The Donegal Hospice is part of everyday life here in Donegal and provides exemplary cover and care to all who need to avail of its services," Martin told DonegalLive. "Like so many others, cancer has come into our colleagues’ lives here in Currys Letterkenny, so myself and the team want to help the hospice by way of holding a head shave fundraising event this Black Friday. The hospice relies on fundraisers like this for at least 20% of the funding they need in order to buy specialist equipment, so we hope that our event can help them out in some small way.
To support, you can pop in to Currys Letterkenny on Black Friday, Friday, November 25, and make a cash donation, or you can donate online here.
