Gardaí offer thanks to three honorary members for opening Christmas markets

Gardaí from the Buncrana District have expressed their gratitude to their three honorary members who assisted with the opening of the Mullan Hope Centre in Moville on Friday evening.

Honorary Gardaí Ray Campbell, Rhys Kearney and Michael McLaughlin were there for the opening of the Christmas markets, which will run through the weekend.

“We were delighted to accompany our three Little Blue Heroes from Inishowen to the The Mullan Hope Centre last night where they had the very important task of officially opening the Christmas markets,” a Garda statement reads this morning.

“Honorary Gardaí Ray Campbell, Rhys Kearney and Michael McLaughlin did an excellent job and they were delighted to be asked to oversee such an important event! No better men for the job!

"We are sure that Santa will have been watching and that he was very pleased with them all!  Thank you to Geraldine Mullan and all involved for your kindness.”
