Three local charities have benefited from an annual charity golf event where the generosity of local players, sponsors and the community has once again been overwhelming.
The Old Tom Morris Links course at Rosapenna Golf Club was the venue for the event which was organised by local man, Pat Boyce.
It took place on Wednesday, November 30 with golfers from all across Donegal taking part.
Thanks are extended to the Casey family at Rosapenna Golf Club for once again making the course available and for providing the delicious food and Irish stew to all golfers on the day.
Thanks also to McBride Fisheries for providing fresh crab claws which helped to make the day all the more special.
The enjoyment that the golfers took from the day will be matched by some deserving causes at Christmas time.
A total of € 6200 was raised from the outing and Pat Boyce presented cheques to the following charities: Letterkenny Branch of St Vincent De Paul, €3100; Carrigart Branch St Vincent De Paul, €1600; Mevagh Day Centre, Carrigart, €1500.
