Significant damage was done to the boundary fence at Narin Golf Club recently when around forty-three fencing posts were pulled out of the ground while another seventy-five posts were cut at ground level at Narin Golf Club, according to gardaí.
The incident is understood to have taken place between December 11 and 19.
Fencing wire was also cut in various places.
Gardaí say there has been an increase in various types of criminal incidents at golf courses across the country over the past number of months.
