Crews worked to restore power within an hour and a half.
Over 60 homes in Donegal were left without power for around an hour-and-a-half on Christmas Day.
The ESB faults struck in the Letterkenny and Newtowncunningham areas around a time when many families would have been tucking into Christmas dinner.
ESB repair crews solved the issue after being tasked.
In Letterkenny, a fault was said to have been first reported in the Ballraine area at 2.28pm.
An estimated 30 customers were affected and the ESB say that power was restored by 2.52pm.
Approximately 36 customers in the Newtowncunningham area were without power for just under an hour-and-a-half.
An outage was reported shortly after 3pm and restored again just before 4.30pm.
The ESB thanked customers for their patience.
