Becoming wet and windy then later in the afternoon and early evening with rain spreading northwards and becoming heavy at times, and bringing some flooding.
Highest temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees with southeast to east winds increasing strong and gusty with gales in some coastal parts.
Saturday night will have temperatures of 1 to 6 degrees in moderate to fresh southwest to west winds.
