Rovers forward Lewis Vaughan had a goal chalked off for offside and St Johnstone goalkeeper Toby Steward made a double save to deny Dylan Easton then Vaughan before the break, while Jason Holt missed a big chance to seal all three points for the visitors deep in second-half stoppage time.
